Aylsham is ideally situated in Norfolk, approximately midway between the fine city of Norwich and the coast at Cromer. It has easy access to many local attractions and activities including:

Beaches – from the popular seaside towns of Cromer, Sheringham and Mundesley to the vast expanse of sandy beach at Holkham.

Norfolk Broads – take the Bure Valley Railway (15 inch gauge) from Aylsham direct to Wroxham in the heart of the Norfolk Broads where you could take a boat trip on the Broads.

Bure Valley Railway – Opened in 1990, the Bure Valley Railway offers an 18 mile round trip through picturesque countryside which is as varied, interesting and beautiful as any to be found on a railway journey in England.

Aylsham Fun Barns – is a new all weather attraction for children up to the age of 11 but with something for all the family too.

Historic Houses and Buildings – Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall (both National Trust properties), Holkham Hall, Sandringham Estate.
