businesses of Aylsham and the surrounding area. To have a voice regardless of the size of your

business and be part of a group of professional business people whose aim is to see Aylsham and

the surrounding area head into the future as a busy centre for business and industry, a tourist

destination and place to visit and stay not just pass through.

2.       ABEF is recognised as the leading business group in Aylsham by Broadland District Council

3.       ABEF is a leading member of the Aylsham Town Team which exists to deliver projects from the

Regeneration Delivery Report.  Deborah Blake, ABEF chairman, is lead contact for the Town Team.

Funding has been made available by the Government for town teams around the country and has

recently awarded Aylsham £10,000.00 to help deliver some of the projects. Access to training for

Aylsham Businesses to Social Media, and free marketing tools. No fee for ABEF members.

Some of the Projects for 2013/2014

To ensure every business has a web presence and for those that wish to have websites,

help will be available by way of training and possible funding aids.

New town website with Aylsham branding. Your membership will give you a listing on the

ABEF website and later the main website.

Intensive marketing campaign including a marquee at the Royal Norfolk Show.

A professional car parking audit is to be undertaken which looks at movement and usage of

the car parks.

Revamp of the hanging signs projects which will define areas of the town without the need

for individual signs for each business.

To stage the Aylsham Frost Fayre 2013, improved and even better than last year.

To deliver the Hopper Bus service again for 2013

Town App which will be funded by ABEF and hopefully match funded by Broadland.

To continue to seek alternative car parking for business owners and staff.

To continue to work with the Town Council to improve the markets in Aylsham.

£60.00 for full single business membership

£25.00 for not for profit organisations, Parish Councils, Town Councils, young start up

businesses under the age of 20 and any school within the Aylsham Cluster

£200.00 for any District or County Council to join
